Live From The Abyss
Jemand der gehörig die Schnauze von der Idiokratie der amerikanischen Politik voll hat, ist Denzel Curry. Schon vor zwei Wochen veröffentlichte er seinen Protest-Song "Live From The Abyss" exklusiv auf Bandcamp, am Freitag folgte das Release auf allen Streaming-Plattformen. Der kurze Song ist düster, aggressiv und wie man es von ihm mittlerweile gewohnt ist: bärenstark.
Zur Veröffentlichung teilte er ein Statement bezüglich der Unterdrückung von schwarzen Wählern: "They were more bold in the past but they found new ways to disenfranchise us" [...] "My brothers and sisters have overcome substantial amounts of injustice to achieve equal opportunity. Equality doesn’t come with a limit and no amount of your Pride can instill fear in my heart."
