Mandy – I Just Can't Wait (1987)
Harold und Maude. Mandy und Bill. Liebe kennt keine Altersgrenzen. Als Mandy Smith 1983 das erste Mal mit dem 33 Jahre älteren Rolling Stones-Bassisten Bill Wyman ausgeht, zählt sie gerade einmal 13 Lenze. Ein waschechter Skandal, der ihr in Großbritannien über ihre ein ganzes Album lang andauernde Gesangskarriere im Weg steht. Im Rest Europas läuft es für sie jedoch ordentlich. Die ersten Zeilen in ihrer Debüt-Single "I Just Can't Wait" schneidern SAW nach Maß: "Being with you, they call me the fool / They just don't know what love can do / They talk as if I'm just a baby / They said I'd be used / Lost and confused / They'll never see you the way that I do / And I'll go along with all that you want me to."
