Die Antwoord: Rave-Exzesse im Video zu "Banana Brain"

Im ersten Musikvideo aus "Mount Ninji & Da Nice Time Kid" zeigen Die Antwoord endlich, wie Yolandi zu ihrer Frisur gekommen ist.

Das anstehende Die Antwoord-Album "Mount Ninji & Da Nice Time Kid" verspricht ein weiterer Meilenstein tiefgründigen Gossen-Dadaismus zu werden. Mit dem neuen Musikvideo zur Single "Banana Brain" spielt die südafrikanische Rave-Formation aber auch endlich wieder ihren größten Trumpf aus: Audiovisuelle Performancekunst.

Ninja und Yolandi cruisen zu erschreckend partytauglichen Synthies durch die Nacht und durchleben die für ihre Verhältnisse ganz normalen Partyexzesse. Ein neues "I Fink U Freeky" bahnt sich hier vielleicht nicht an, dafür gibt's wieder mehr echte Rapparts und Songstrukturen als auf dem jüngst veröffentlichten "Suck On This"-Mixtape.

When we finished all the songs for our new album (da name in caps above) we thought, 'Hmm... what song should we make a music video for 1st?'
Then we got this cute idea for a music video for our high-energy love song: BANANA BRAIN and filmed the video in our old hood in South Africa. The BB video is about sneaking out of the normal boring world into a dark and exciting zef zone that normal people are too scared to explore. But beware of the zef zone kids, because things are not always as they seem!
