laut.de intim: Die Jahres-Charts der Redakteure

Zu den Ende 2007 veröffentlichten laut.de-Redaktionscharts haben insgesamt dreißig Mitarbeiter beigetragen, darunter Redakteure und Techniker, Chefs und Praktikanten sowie eine Abtrünnige.

Konstanz (laut) - Wenn einer eine Reise tut, dann kann er was erzählen: Als die altgedienten laut.de-Mitarbeiter Dobler, Friedrich, Schuh und Mengele im Sommer aus den USA zurückkehrten, schwärmten sie nicht nur vom Grand Canyon und Altmeister Lee Hazlewood, sondern auch von einer bis dato völlig unbekannten Band namens Under The Influence Of Giants.

Dass diese von der USA-Connection hochgejubelte Combo aus LA in den laut.de-Redaktionscharts trotzdem nur Platz 12 erreichte, lag jedoch nicht nur an Neid und Missgunst der Daheimgebliebenen. Sondern auch an dem Auswertungsmodell, in dem Mehrfachnennungen höher bewertet wurden als von Einzelpersonen vergebene Spitzenplätze.

So hatte nur ein einziger Redakteur Interpol auf Platz eins seiner Charts. Für den Gesamtsieg reichte es trotzdem, weil "Our Love To Admire" eben bei vielen laut.de-Mitarbeitern im Mittelfeld mitsegelte.

Während die laut.de-Charts den Konsens anzeigen, bilden die Einzelcharts eine Meinungsvielfalt ab, die einer sich immer mehr differenzierenden Musikszene Rechnung trägt. Alben wie "The Dark Third" von Pure Reason Revolution, "Lucky Boy" von Dj Mehdi, "Chromophobia" von Gui Boratto oder "Drop It Til It Pops" von Hot Club De Paris fanden deshalb keinen Eingang in die Redaktionscharts, obwohl sie von einzelnen Redakteuren Höchstwertungen erhielten.

Konsensfähig waren dagegen auch in diesem Jahr wieder einige deutsche Acts: Während Muff Potter und Digitalism sich weiter hinten tummeln, konnten sich gleich mehrere Redakteure für Tocotronics "Kapitulation" begeistern - die Hamburger belegen wie 2005 (mit "Pure Vernunft Darf Niemals Siegen") einen überaus respektablen vierten Platz. Warum auch in die Ferne schweifen ...
