Nur einen Tag später folgte auf Dolmayans Statement die indirekte Antwort seines Bandkollegen Serj Tankian. Auf Instagram postete der Sänger die Lyrics zu dem alten System Of A Down-Demosong "Temper", und schreibt: "Wer diesen Song liebt oder dabei mitspielt und Trump liebt, ist ein Heuchler – nur eine einfache Tatsache:)" Da SoaD den Song bereits mehrfach live aufgeführt haben (zuletzt mehrfach im Sommer/Herbst 2015), dürfte klar sein, wer gemeint ist.
