Randy Blythe vs. Westboro Baptist Church

Einen eher ungewöhnlichen Auftritt legte vergangene Woche auch Lamb Of God-Sänger Randy Blythe hin. Er organisierte eine Streetparty, um eine Demonstration der Westboro Baptist Church zu stören. Die immer wieder durch schwulenfeindliche und rassistische Proteste auffallende Glaubensgemeinde wollte in Richmond gegen die Wahl von Danica Roem – der ersten offiziell gewählten Transgender-Person im Bundesstaat – demonstrieren. Blythe, der mit Roem befreundet ist, konterte mit dieser Botschaft auf Instagram:
