This Is Summer

Wäre es nicht eine der geschäftigsten Wochen des bisherigen Jahres, hätte ich gesagt, dass Childish Gambino gerade den zweiten Smash nach "This Is America" in den Händen hält.

"Feels Like Summer" hat dafür eigentlich alle Zutaten: Der unglaublich eingängige Song, der allerdings statt Trap mehr in Richtung von Soul und Funk schlägt, wie schon Vorgängeralbum "Awaken, My Love". Dazu gibt es ein wundervolles, unterhaltsames Musikvideo im Animationsstil, das vor Cameos nur so strotzt und dementsprechend unglaubliche Freude macht, einfach nur nachzuvollziehen, wer da gerade wie dargestellt wird. Von Kanyes MAGA-Eskapaden über den Tod von XXXTentacion bis hin zur Verhaftung von Kodak Black wird da so einiges aufgegriffen. Und weil es fast unmöglich ist, alles auf einmal zu verstehen, kopiere ich mal diesen äußerst soliden YouTube-Kommentar hier herein:
