laut.de intim: Die unzensierten Jahrescharts

Konstanz (mis) - Der große Skandal verbreitete sich in Windeseile: ein Album aus den Charts von laut.de-Metal-Papst Edele landete über verschlungene Pfade mitten in der Gesamtwertung. Das gab's noch nie. Auch sonst bot das finale Ergebnis wieder reichlich Raum für Spekulation: Hatten tatsächlich nicht genug Leute die Alben von The Bravery, Foo Fighters, Dredg und Wir Sind Helden gewählt? Wie schaffte es das zum Zeitpunkt der Wahl noch nicht veröffentlichte, neue Strokes-Album in die Charts?

Überraschung auch im Rocklager: Queens Of The Stone Age und Turbonegro wurde im Vorfeld ein weitaus schlechteres Abschneiden prophezeit, Chikinki (Platz 6) und Antony & The Johnsons (11) heißen dagegen die Überraschungssieger 2005. Franz Ferdinand blieben mit ihrem Zweitling genau sieben Plätze hinter den übergroßen Erwartungen zurück (8), Weezer brachten zwar zwei Songs in den Jahrescharts unter, nicht aber ihr Album "Make Believe".

Letztlich konnten sich auf Maximo Park (1) und And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead (2) fast alle Teilnehmer einigen. Insgesamt waren sich 25 Redakteure nicht zu schade, 214 Alben vorzuschlagen. Von insgesamt 268 Songs behaupteten sich die Chemical Brothers ("Galvanize") relativ deutlich auf Rang eins vor Audioslave ("Be Yourself") und Death Cab For Cutie ("Soul Meets Body"). Zu den erfolgreichen Außenseitern zählen hier Mylo ("Drop The Pressure", 6), Bonnie 'Prince' Billy & Matt Sweeney ("Bed Is For Sleeping", 10) und das Kaizers Orchestra ("Maestro", 11). Anhand der nachfolgenden Einzelcharts der Beteiligten könnt ihr nun Rückschlüsse ziehen, wer für welchen Unfug zu verunglimpfen ist.
